Welcome to Front Porch, Ya’ll. Thank ya’ll, for visiting us, online.

We’re always catfish and cornbread fixin’.  We’re a ‘from scratch’, Southern food kitchen, and caterer, using old school techniques.  We put lots of love into our food, keeping the art and tradition, of Southern cooking, alive and well. 

However, we are more than just a Southern food kitchen; we’re a Southern experience. We offer authentic, Southern food, music, and hospitality, all in a place, one would expect to find, only Down South.

We’re all about nostalgic, ‘times gone by’, and ‘old school ways’ of doing things. We want ya’ll to come for a visit, for one of our events, or private ‘get togethers’, and spend some time, sit for a spell, listening to some blues, or rocking in a chair, on our front porch, while sipping a Mint Julip.

We want ya’ll to come in, and enjoy yourselves, and we want ya’ll to feel at home. This is a place to let go, of the world that usually moves too fast. We want ya’ll to relax, and enjoy good food, good music, and good company.

Folks, we look forward to having y'all visit us, here, at Front Porch, and ask that y'all plan your visit, accordingly. We do not open as a regular restaurant does. We host our special events, including ‘Southern Supper, Buffet & Blues’ events, as well as brunches, and Sunday matinees. We also offer our ‘Taster’s Table’ events, which offer ‘dine in service’, for a set menu. We do, occasionally, offer a ‘Take Out Food Day’, which we note, on our website.

We are proudly located in the small community of Langton, in Norfolk County, amidst, beautiful, tobacco farm country. We are considered to be a destination place.

We accommodate large groups, and host private parties. We also cater, and that can be here, at Front Porch, or, we are able to provide services, at an ‘off site’ location, backyard party, or at your business.
